Advent Calendar
The boys and I had been doing our Advent calendar. I had fun planning the activities/gift for boys with this we also do a bible verse and put a character of the nativity set out for display.
Last Friday night the boys opened the advent bag to find toothbrushes. Then we said it was bedtime it was 7 p.m. which is early for them to go to bed. The boys weren't to happy that it was bedtime already but let Jason read their books to them. When we climbed into bed they discovered a train ticket. This ticket allowed them to board the movie train in the living room. Where we watched Polar Express had hot chocolate and popcorn. It was fun to see the boys' faces when they realized that they didn't have to go to sleep.
One day the boys decorated our tree.
The boys were so proud that they did it all by themselves
Nolan's letter to Santa.
Peyton's letter to Santa.
Making gingerbread cookies and ornaments.
Frosting and eating the cookies.

Hauling and stacking wood
Saturday Jason split some of our larger logs so that the logs would fit in our stove.
Peyton and Nolan hauled and stacked all the wood to our arctic entryway and to our outside deck where we storage our wood.
We try to keep some wood in the house so that it is easier to get to and it burns better. Which is important when it is -40 or colder outside.
Hard at work.

Our first snowfall
We woke up to 1 inch of snow that had fallen during the night. The boys were so excited to go out at play in it.
It was the first time Sawyer had really played in the snow.
Sawyer was so cute he would grab a hand full of snow. Then run up to me and barely touch me with snowball. Run way and grab some more snow.
