Wrangell - St Elias National Park

On Mother's Day we traveled to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is about 100 miles away from Tok.  It is a different from other parks we visited since there are towns inside the park. It was gorgeous to see the mountains as the snow is starting to melt.

Enjoying our picnic

It was a fun outing and we will definitely go back in the summer when we can go hiking and camping.

Fun in Alaska

We are experiencing a snowstorm all of today and they say tomorrow too. The total of accumulation is 4-8 inches of snow on top of the foot and half we already had on the ground. By the afternoon we all were getting a little stir crazy so we borrowed a friend's snow machine and sled and head out around the neighborhood.
The view of our street. Our street hadn't been plowed and with several inches on the road it perfect to go for a ride.

The boys coming to pick me up.

The boys loved riding in the sled and didn't want to get out.

Let's go!
