Happy Belated Easter! We hope that everyone had a blessed Easter! We Enjoyed hosting both sides of our famly this weekend.
My parents came Friday morning and headed straight to pick up Peyton from daycare. They took care of him while I was at work and Jason was in Rapid running errands.
Then Jason's family came later that night. Here we are hanging out at the motel Friday.

Then on Saturday, I went off to work the early shift and some of the family went to see the Badlands. The Badlands are very pretty with snow on them.
Grandma S. and Aunt Kerry stayed at our house to take care of Peyton when everyone went out to the Badlands. Later in the afternoon Uncle Jerrit decided that Peyton is finally big enough to hold. Some of us made a visit to Wall Drug to find some treasures. We then enjoyed the evening playing with Peyton and watching Jason's high school graduation ceremony. It was fun to see and hear Jason before I knew him.
On Sunday we all went to Easter service. Then we came back to the house for lunch. Here are some pictures of Peyton hanging out with the family.

This is my favorite Easter pic of Peyton.

Early in the afternoon the Prins and Grandma S. headed back to Minnesota. I took a nap while Jason, Grandma and Grandpa T played with Peyton.
Then we all decided to play some cards. Here is Peyton telling Grandpa to play the Ace of Hearts.
Nice hand Grandpa.

We ate supper and tried giving Peyton a little jello. He ate most of the jello but some did roll down his shirt.

On Monday my parents left mid morning and headed back to Iowa. We enjoyed celebrating Jesus Resurrection with all of you.

This week I was trying to put Peyton down for a nap when I noticed he didn't like having his pacicifer in his mouth instead he enjoyed his thumb.

This was an outfit that Aunt Linette and Uncle Chris sent to Peyton. I thought is was cute that it had a helicoper on it. Thank-you Linette and Chris for the outfits!

I also decided to try to put shoes on Peyton. He kept them on for a little while then kicked them off. His feet seem to be really growing. Now Peyton is wearing 6 month old socks, I think he is going to have big feet like his dad.

Lately we have been letting Boyden come upstairs more to interact with Peyton. Boyden is very good with Peyton, he doesn't get to excited around Peyton. It is interesting how a dog can pick up on how to act around kids.

Here are the guys hanging together. I think that they are trying to get out of cleaning for Easter.

Peyton's new toy

We decde to purchase an ExerSaucer for Peyton. It is a little big for him so we have to put a blanket in with him. He enjoys playing in it but it is a little hard to reach all the toys.

It's a Blizzard

Today Jason didn't have school, Peyton didn't have daycare and I didn't have to go to work at the drug store because we have been in a blizzard. It started on Monday, we got rain and then it turned into ice then shortly after that it turn into snow. I think we got about 14-16 inches of snow but you can't tell because it all blew around. We thought we would show you what it looks like in our driveway.
Can you believe that on Sunday we were at 80 degrees??
Can you believe that I am 3 months old!!!

Peyton and Jason went to see the doctor this last week. We found out that Peyton weighs 15 1/2 lbs. He also recieved his shots. After the dr. visit they went to th SD State A Boy's basketball playoffs in Rapid.

Peyton has been folding his hands and .........
bringing them up to his mouth.
Here is Jason multi-tasking while changing a diaper.
Peyton is also rolling over. I was watching him during his tummy time and then all of a sudden he rolled over on to his back.

I think I can .....

Yeppy, I can roll over.

The Peyton Update

Lately Peyton's socks aren't fitting him anymore. I try to put his socks on but he keeps kicking them off. It is a game we like to play and Peyton wins.

Peyton has also been rubbing his hair off. As you can see he has a ring around his head without any hair. Jason wants to shave all of his hair off but I think it will stop rubbing off when he starts sitting up by himself. Which I think will be very soon. He is now in bigger diapers.
Last Saturday night we went to a Rush Hockey game. It was our family night out. It was a great game which ended up with a shoot out. The Rush lost 3-2 but we had a fun time cheering them on. Peyton even slept during some of the game.
On Sunday we raked our front and back yard. So here is Peyton sitting in his jeep watching us rake. It felt good to be outside. I am looking forward to spring.

Here is Peyton sitting in a christmas gift from the Prins. I wanted to see if he could sit in that without sliding through it. He sat in it for awhile just looking at the toys. I think in a few weeks he will be playing with those toys.

On the job hunt topic Jason didn't get the job in Roundup, MT but he has some applications into schools in MT, WY and SD. We will keep you posted about the search.

Week in Review

Last week was a big week for Peyton. He went to Daycare for the first time. As you can see he was very excited. He did very well at daycare. They were so excited to have a baby join them. So with Peyton at daycare I went back to work at Wall Drug. I am beginning to learn how to juggle everything.

Jason had an interview for a Principal job in Roundup, Montana Friday the 6th. We are waiting for their decision. So we will see what God has planned for us.

Here is Peyton playing with his new gym. It has been fun watching him hit those toys.

We also purchased Peyton his own Jeep. It was so nice on Sunday that we decided to take it for a test drive. It was good to get out.
