Missing teeth

Peyton lost his first tooth at school he was so excited that he wanted to call home and tell me. He put it under his pillow that night for the tooth fairy. While I was up around 5 a.m. feeding Sawyer, Peyton came running into the living room telling me that the tooth fairy had left him a receipt and money. He told me that now he has a lot of money. He didn't go back to sleep that morning.

On Wednesday of this last weekend Peyton again at school lost his 2 tooth while in speech. He told me that he didn't call because you only do that when you lose your first tooth.

He put under his pillow again for the tooth fairy. He was just as excited this time that she came here.

Picking cranberries

It is that time a year again we have received a hard frost now the cranberries are ready to pick. The boys and I walked down the trail to the school to find our cranberries.

Peyton was more interested in shaking the trees so the leaves would fall off than picking cranberries. If he did find any he ate them right away.

Nolan was collecting as many leaves as he could. He also would point out the cranberries for me but I had to put those cranberries in his container.

Sawyer was happy as could be as long as the stroller was moving. Glad the boys were willing to help push Sawyer back and forth. Don't know if I am going to get my gallon container of cranberries like I did last year but it was enjoyable.

Bouncing Brothers

Nolan first day of preschool

Nolan heading to his first day of preschool for the year. He was asking me all last week when does he get to go to school.

Nolan wanted to make sure that everyone was able to see his new backpack

When Nolan came home I asked him how his day went and he said that he had fun with his new friends. Shortly, after getting off the bus he had a snack and then I thought he was playing in his room. When I went to check on him he was fast asleep in Peyton's bed. I guess the first day was a success.

First Day in Kindergarten for Peyton

Peyton was so excited about going to the BIG school that he woke up at 6:00 am this morning. He had plenty of time to pick out his own clothes. He choose a dress shirt just like his Dad.

Waiting for the bus. He said that he missed all of his friends that rode the bus last year when he went to transitional preschool. Some of them are Junior High kids. Peyton can makes friends where every he goes.
When he came home and I asked, " How was Kindergarten?" Peyton responded," It was fun. They have Legos there and a play house in my room. and I had pizza and goldfishes for lunch."
