Christmas in Iowa and Minnesota
We traveled down to Iowa and Minnesota on Wednesday night to see our families. We thought it would be better to leave one day early to avoid traveling in a storm like last year. Which was a good idea as my sister didn't make it on Thursday night due to the road conditions but she was able to arrive on Friday. We went to Candlelight Christmas Eve service at Immanuel Lutheran Peyton enjoyed blowing my candle out. I believe that he thought it was another b-day candle for him. After the service it was time to eat and then open gifts.
Peyton was able to video chat with his Uncle Chris who is deployed over seas in Djibouti, Africa. Uncle Chris was able to watch us all open are gifts from each other. Peyton loved walking up to the computer and waving to his uncle. I think we may have to start video chatting with some of our family.
Who is calling you? It better not be your girlfriend Lanie! (One of my daycare kids told her grandma that Peyton was her boyfriend.)
Aunt Linette and Nolan with new clothes for him.
A teddy bear for Nolan.
Grandma and Aunt Jana were on kid patrol while we played cards. Thanks!!!
On Sunday and Monday we spent time with the Roslansky side. We enjoyed wonderful meals and good conservations.
All the Roslansky cousins. It took us sereval attemps to try to get Peyton to sit still for a picture.
Peyton loved playing the piano at the Prins' house. I think we have a musician on our hands
Peyton who do you see on the other side of the tank?
Nolan playing with his cousins.
