Last week we traveled to Sioux Falls for a conference that Jason attended for work. As Jason went to his conference the boys and I along with Grandma S, Grandma and Grandpa T. ventured to the water park in our hotel. Peyton was a little hesitate going down the slide by himself but after awhile he realized how much fun it is and how you don't have to wait for Mom to catch up to you to go down the slide.
We even got Nolan in the pool. He enjoyed going around with Mom and even went down a few slides. He liked it so much that when we took him out to rest he started crying.
Nolan during the afternoon secession of swimming. I think we wore him out.
Thank you so much Grandma S, Grandma and Grandpa T for coming up and helping me take care of the boys in the pool. It made it so much easier to have a couple pairs of extra hands.
We then traveled to Spirit Lake. While there we canned peaches, corn relish and frozen corn.
Tomato anyone??
We also went to Arnold's Park with the Thrivent group. It was Peyton and Nolan 1st time at an amusement park.
The little kid roller coaster wasn't a hit with Peyton. We asked Peyton when he was done if he wanted to go again and he yelled, "NO." Maybe next time it won't be so scary.
