Hockey

Friday and Saturday we had hockey games here in Tok. Friday night Peyton and Nolan played at 4:30 against Kenny Lake.

The kids getting on the ice

Nolan on the ice get to play.

Nolan is doing better on the ice this year. He is more cooperated in getting his gear on. Which is a big achievement for us as getting two ready for the ice can take me a half hour.

This year the Mites play cross ice which is half the length of the ice rink. They play a 2 minute interval and then change kids. It has been good for the kids that can't skate  the fastest.

After a couple of times on the ice Nolan was tired and wanted only to sit with Jason. Jason was working at the clock for the games.

Peyton has really got into hockey this year. He is going after the puck more and more. During the game on Saturday he almost scored a goal but it was against our goalie. I think that comes from the practices when the team try to score goals with our goalie.
