In March the boys had their last hockey games here in Tok. Barrow, Glennallen and a team from Fairbanks came to play our kids. Nolan skated one game but they played full ice so he got a little frustrated since he could keep up with the other kids. I told him that when Peyton was he age he wasn't even skating get. I think next year we will really see Nolan take off on the ice.
Peyton is in the huge black jersey I tried tucking it in but as you can see it didn't stay that way. Peyton played on some other teams to help fill their bench. One of the coaches was surprised that he was only 5 years old and his coach from last year told us that he is about a year ahead of most kids his age.
Several times during these games Peyton would steal the puck but on the last game he stole the puck and skated with it towards the goal.

Very impressed in NW Iowa by non-skating kinfolk!
